Build your village.
Hi, my name is Aunika Day and I’m so glad you’re here.
My journey into postpartum work has been shaped by years of hands-on care, quiet observation, and a deep respect for the sacredness of the fourth trimester. My early work as a childcare professional has taught me the value of compassion, curiosity, and consistency.
I later trained as a birth doula and birth assistant, walking alongside families through one of life’s most vulnerable and powerful transitions. It was in the quiet moments after birth — the soft, in-between spaces where mothers begin to heal and babies adjust to the world — that I discovered my heart for postpartum support.
As a nationally registered EMT with neonatal resuscitation training, I bring a calm, grounded presence into the home. My medical foundation has taught me how to respond with clarity, anticipate needs before they arise, and offer support that is both compassionate and efficient. But above all, I aim to be a gentle presence — someone who can help ease the mental load, offer rest, and remind mothers they are not alone.
I believe it is a necessity for every mother to be nurtured as she finds her rhythm, recovers in her own time, and settles into the new shape of her family. It’s an honor to be part of that unfolding — to tend, to hold space, and to simply be there.
